Patrick Koster is exhibiting for a month, starting Sunday, September 6, at De Jukebox in Cafe De Pels, in the Nine Streets District in Amsterdam. The exhibition is on view at De Jukebox until Saturday, October 4, 2026.

Since March 3, 2024, a new artwork has been unveiled every first Sunday of the month at 5:00 PM at the site of the former jukebox in Café De Pels.

La Fête Galante.

Since summer 2023 I take life a little lighter … ☺️ and worked on a new series of collage works entitled “La Fête Galante”.
The Fête Galante paintings were a genre within the French 18th century rococo period of art.
I especially like Watteau’s mixing of theater life with real life, so that the boundary between the two is completely blurred.
The lightness of being, the relaxed atmosphere, the costumes and the appreciation for intimacy: I find it all very appealing and tried to catch this joie de vivre, this lifestyle of la vie en rose in my latest art.🌹😘
